Application of Geographic Information Systems and Sediment Routing Methods in Sediment Mapping in Krueng Jreu Sub-Watershed, Aceh Province, Indonesia

چکیده

Land management in the Krueng Jreu sub-watershed (Aceh Province, Indonesia) that did not follow soil and water conservation methods encouraged erosion. This can lead to silting of rivers or irrigation canals due sediment deposition. Limited tools were main reason for infrequent measurement mapping these sediments watersheds. Therefore, this study aims conduct sedimentary using GIS techniques combined with routing method successfully produce a map assessment criteria area from 2010 2019. Rainfall spatial data analyzed obtain several parameters surface runoff, peak discharge, erodibility, slope, value ground cover, land management. The results show was included wet climate type. type use classification savanna accounted most significant open gave smallest runoff. maximum erosion found secondary dryland forest classification. It known contributor occurrence area.
